La Playa de Cofete está situada en uno de los rincones más aislados de Fuerteventura, el acceso a la zona sólo es posible a través de una pista sin asfaltar, a la que podemos llegar tanto en nuestro vehículo propio como de alquiler, pero sin duda una buena opción es ir en Guagua (horarios de bus), que nos llevará comodamente desde Morro Jable hasta el pueblo de Cofete. Si te gusta la aventura apúntate a una excursión en jeep, seguro que te sorprenderá. Merece la pena realizar el recorrido solo por disfrutar de las increíbles vistas de la playa de Cofete.


El mayor atractivo para los visitantes, es que la zona se encuentra en un impresionante estado virgen. La playa, de arena dorada, es extensa de casi 14 km de longitud y 50 metros de anchura, lo que provoca en los viajeros una placentera sensación de bienestar y paz. Es ventosa y de fuerte oleaje, por lo que hay que extremar las precauciones a la hora del baño.  Es uno de los mejores lugares de la isla si queremos descansar tranquilamente sin que nada nos perturbe y además, es ideal para la práctica del nudismo.

La Playa de Cofete ha sido considerada por los internautas como una de las mejores playas de Europa.
