La Playa de Los Charcos es uno de los lugares favoritos de los que visitan Fuerteventura. Esta playaestá compuesta por tres playas consecutivas.
Se extiende a lo largo de más 500 m. y cuya anchura máxima es de 70m, esta playa es una playa de arena blanca y grava, se encuentra situada frente al Faro del Cotillo. Se compone de pequeñas calitas separadas por muros naturales de piedra, que forman piscinas de agua cristalina.
Esta playa de aguas tranquilas pero ventosa en ocasiones, es una de las playas preferidas por las personas que practican nudismo, también es una buena zona para iniciarse en la práctica del kitesurf. Toda la zoma está rodeada de terreno árido sin apenas vegetación.
Para llegar a la Playa de los Charcos:
Tenemos que coger la carretera que sale del Cotillo hacia el Faro del Tostón, durante unos 5 kilómetros. A unos 400 m. antes de llegar al faro desviarse a la derecha por un camino de tierra hasta llegar cerca de las playas donde se puede aparcar muy cerca de éstas, a partir de ahí aproximarse a las playas caminando.
